టీమిండియా మాజీ సారథి ఎంఎస్​ ధోనీ భవితవ్యంపై పెద్ద ఎత్తున చర్చ జరుగుతోంది. ఇలాంటి సమయంలో మరో వార్త అభిమానులకు తీపి కబురు అందించింది. 2019 ప్రపంచకప్​లో భారత్​ సెమీఫైనల్లో ఓడిన తర్వాత అంతర్జాతీయ మ్యాచ్​ ఆడని మహీ... ఫిబ్రవరి 8న ఆస్ట్రేలియా వేదికగా మళ్లీ మైదానంలో సందడి చేయనున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.

టీమిండియా మాజీ సారథి మహేంద్ర సింగ్​ ధోనీకి అభిమానుల్లో ఉండే క్రేజ్​ వేరు. 2019 ప్రపంచకప్​ సెమీస్​ మ్యాచ్​లో భారత్​ ఓడిన తర్వాత మహీ అంతర్జాతీయ క్రికెట్​లో బరిలోకి దిగలేదు. తాజాగా మళ్లీ మైదానంలోకి అడుగుపెట్టనున్నాడట. అయితే ఈసారి ఒంటరిగా కాకుండా భారత దిగ్గజ క్రికెటర్​ సచిన్​ తెందూల్కర్​తో కలిసి ఆడనున్నట్లు సమాచారం. అదేంటి సచిన్​ 2013లోనే క్రికెట్​కు వీడ్కోలు పలికాడని అనుకుంటున్నారా..? ఇదంతా ఓ ఛారిటీ మ్యాచ్​ కోసం చేయనున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.

బిగ్​బాష్​ ఫైనల్​ ముందు...

ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో ఆస్ట్రేలియాలో కార్చిచ్చు కారణంగా కోట్లాది వన్య ప్రాణులు చనిపోయాయి. అంతేకాకుండా ఎంతో మంది నిరాశ్రయులయ్యారు. వారిని ఆదుకునేందుకు విరాళాలు సేకరిస్తున్న ఓ సంస్థ తరఫున ఈ మ్యాచ్​ ఆడనున్నారట సచిన్​, మహీ. ఇప్పటికే క్రికెట్​ ఆస్ట్రేలియా ఈ విషయమై ఇద్దర్నీ సంప్రదించిందట. ఈ మ్యాచ్​లో తలపడే రెండు జట్లకు ఆస్ట్రేలియా దిగ్గజ క్రికెటర్లు షేన్​వార్న్​ , రికీ పాంటింగ్​ కెప్టెన్లుగా ఉండనున్నారు. ఇటీవలె మ్యాచ్​ తేదీని ప్రకటించింది ఆస్ట్రేలియా క్రికెట్​ బోర్డు.

ఆల్​ స్టార్​-టీ20 పేరుతో ఈ మ్యాచ్​ జరగనుంది. ఫిబ్రవరి 8న బిగ్​బాష్​ లీగ్​(బీబీఎల్​) ఫైనల్​కు ముందు నిర్వహించనున్నారు. ఇందులో మాజీ క్రికెటర్లు బ్రెట్​ లీ, జస్టిన్​ లాంగర్​, మైకేల్​ క్లార్క్​, అడమ్​ గిల్​క్రిస్ట్​, ,షేన్​ వాట్సన్​, ఆలెక్స్​ బ్లాక్​వెల్​ పాల్గొనున్నారు. అంతేకాకుండా స్టీవ్​ వా, మహిళా క్రీడాకారిణి మేల్​ జోన్స్​ వ్యాఖ్యాతలుగా వ్యవహరించనున్నారు. ఈ మ్యాచ్​ ద్వారా వచ్చే ఆదాయాన్ని ఆస్ట్రేలియా రెడ్​ క్రాస్ సంస్థకు అందజేయనున్నారు.

జాతీయ విపత్తులు సంభవించి నష్టం జరిగినప్పుడు... బాధితులను ఆదుకునేందుకు ఇలాంటి ఛారిటీ క్రికెట్​ మ్యాచ్​లు చాలాసార్లు నిర్వహించారు. 2015లో వరల్డ్​ ఎలెవన్​ వర్సెస్​ ఆసియా ఎలెవన్​ మధ్య ఇలాంటి మ్యాచ్​ మెల్​బోర్న్​లో జరిగింది. ఈ మ్యాచ్​ ద్వారా వచ్చిన విరాళాలను సునామీ బాధితులకు అందజేశారు. పాంటింగ్​, వార్న్​, తెందూల్కర్​, బ్రయన్​ లారా, ముత్తయ్య మురళీధరన్​ ఈ మ్యాచ్​లో ఆడారు.

2019 ప్రపంచకప్​ తర్వాత ధోనీ క్రికెట్​ ఆడకపోయినా.. విరాళాలు సేకరించేందుకు ఓ ఛారిటీ ఫుట్​బాల్​ మ్యాచ్​లో సందడి చేశాడు. బాలీవుడ్‌ నటులు అర్జున్‌కపూర్‌, సమిర్​ కొచ్చార్​, కొరియోగ్రాఫర్‌ కేసర్‌ గొన్‌సాల్వ్స్‌, టెన్నిస్‌ దిగ్గజం లియాండర్‌ పేస్‌తో కలిసి సాకర్​ ఆడాడు.

"Yeah, just the last song, we'd finished and Greg seemed to stumble off-stage to the side of the stage, so we raced over and he was shaking and I thought he was, we thought he was having a fit and one of our office people, Kim, who managed a football team for many years and used to kind of assessing things pretty quickly, she knows CPR, she said 'he's not breathing, roll him over on his back,' sorry, which we did and they started CPR and our drummer Steve jumped in doing CPR on him and yeah, there was a nurse from the audience who came out and kind of oversaw things. But he was not breathing a number of times there so it was an awful experience for him and for all of those around him, his mum and dad were there."

"Yeah it was very touch and go and those people who did CPR on him saved his life. The defibrillator was used three times, you know, so he came to Westmead Hospital and I just hung around to see how he was and he had a procedure, a stent put in, I'm not sure how many or whatever, but he had a procedure with stents and they allowed me to see him around 3 (1600 GMT) in the morning and it was just so great to see him. I was very relieved."

"He looked really unwell. I saw two of the bystanders actually doing CPR, which was really good. He wasn't breathing, so I just went in and I did a little bit of CPR and then someone handed me the defibrillator that I'm assuming they have at the RSL (club). I got someone else to take over during CPR and I attached the defibrillator to him and then we shocked him."

"That ECG clearly identified that he had a blockage of one of the major coronary vessels. We then transmitted that ECG through to Westmead Hospital and also I spoke to the senior staff specialist in the emergency department and we advised them of what our ETA (estimated time of arrival) would be and at the same time we had the cardiology team already on the way in, getting out of bed and coming into the hospital so that we could reperfuse or reopen that blocked vessel, his coronary vessel. So the whole system worked really, really well."

STORYLINE:
One of the original members of the popular Australian children's band The Wiggles has been hospitalised after collapsing during a wildfire relief concert.
Greg Page, the 48-year-old original Yellow Wiggle, fell as he left a stage in New South Wales and went into cardiac arrest.
The band's manager Paul Field told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that the defibrillator was used three times to revive Page.
"It was very touch and go and those people who did CPR on him saved his life," Field said.
He had been performing with the other original band members to raise money for the Red Cross and the wildlife rescue group WIRE.
With their peppy dancing, waggling fingers, exaggerated facial expressions and catchy songs like "Hot Potato" and "Fruit Salad," The Wiggles have sold more than 23 million DVDs and videos, 7 million CDs and 8 million books.
They have been broadcast in more than 100 countries.
In 2006, Page left the group because of a rare nervous system disorder.
He rejoined in 2012, but soon he and fellow original Wiggles Jeff Fatt and Murray Cook retired.
The part of the Yellow Wiggle was given to Emma Watkins.
