Odisha villagers turn cemetery into blissful leisure spot

In usual circumstances one avoids visiting cemeteries with many considering it as one of the dreaded places. At least this isn't the case with Buruda villagers in Odisha's Nayagarh, who took bold measures to beautify the abandoned spot. They went to the extent of spending their own money on the beautification of the local cemetry. The cemetery, re-christened as 'Muktidhama, Swargadhama' (liberation, gateway to heaven) has become a spot for people to loiter amid blooming flowers and charming idols.
