Himmat Singh Rathore, a former Army Commando, has proven his name as he completed a task requiring great levels of grit, perseverance and strength. Himmat broke the world record for greatest vertical height stair climbing in 24 hours, as he climbed 70,679 stairs in under 24 hours, breaking the existing record of 70,242 stairs set by Spain's Christian Roberto Lopez Rodriguez in 2023. Himmat's feat was monitored by a team of physical education teachers who sent all the proof to the Guinness Book of World Records to verify and add his name to the record book.

HC Sets Aside Order Upholding Arbitral Award In Favour Of Kalanithi Maran In Dispute With SpiceJet

A two judge bench of the Delhi High stays the arbitral award directing Spicejet to refund Rs 579 crore to the Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran. The bench comprising Justices Yashwant Varma and Ravinder Dudeja was hearing a petition from the carrier's chairman and managing director Ajay Singh. The plea challenged the award announced by the arbitral tribunal favouring Maran and his Kal Airways. Maran and his co had claimed that they had paid Rs. 679 crore for issuing warrants and preference shares.
