WATCH: 'Pohan Biya' celebrated at Kamakhya Temple

Assam: The devotees of Kamakhya temple, one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas in the country,  on Sunday solemnised "Pohan Biya" - the symbolic wedding of goddess Kameswari or Kamakhya and Lord Kameswar - with great fervour and gaiety. The three-day-long celebration began on Saturday and will conclude on Monday in Assam. Thousands of devotees arrived at the temple to observe the auspicious occasion which is celebrated on 'tritiya tithi' in the month of 'Pausa'.
