మాజీ ప్రధాని రాజీవ్‌గాంధీ హత్యకేసులో దోషిగా తేలి శిక్ష అనుభవిస్తున్న నళిని శ్రీహరన్ నేడు పెరోల్పై జైలు నుంచి విడుదలైంది.

పెరోల్ సమయంలో ఎవరికీ ఇంటర్వ్యూలు ఇవ్వొద్దని, రాజకీయ నాయకులను కలవొద్దని న్యాయస్థానం షరతులు విధించింది.
తమిళనాడు వెల్లూరులోని మహిళా కారాగారంలో 1991 నుంచి శిక్ష అనుభవిస్తోంది నళిని. రాజీవ్ గాంధీ హత్య కేసులో ఈమెతో పాటు మరో ఆరుగురిని దోషులుగా తేల్చింది న్యాయస్థానం. నళిని భర్త మురుగన్కూ యవజ్జీవ జైలుశిక్ష విధించింది.

"So, that was a proper preseason game with a lot of mistakes because of the intensity of the training we all do. For Sporting it was not easy for sure because I think they fly in and fly out which is pretty special and so that is how a preseason game should be: completely fair, everybody was hard but not overly hard, and everybody tried to win the ball and not make a foul. I liked that, that was all good. And the second part of the question, Bruno Fernandes to Manchester United, yeah is they do that then we will face him. I mean he's obviously a really good player. Yeah, they have already a few really good players so that would make them probably stronger. It's not nice, but yeah. . . it's not our cup of tea, to be honest."

"In Notre Dame and Boston, obviously the weather. I think we hit the two hottest days of the year when we played. That was a big challenge, for the (training) sessions as well, but especially the games. Yeah, pitches are always a challenge in America because we played in wonderful stadiums but there are usually no soccer stadiums so that makes it a bit tricky. Tonight, it was really funny because the pitch is not symmetric. It was not directly. . . you thought 'huh, something is wrong, the stand is there and the pitch is like this', so it's. . . everybody did a really good job to make it happen and we decided to go here and it was a really good time. I like it a lot. It's not allowed for me to say too many good things about the Yankees because we are obviously Red Sox. But, especially from their point of view they were really nice to us and it was a very good experience. For the young boys especially it was really nice to be here. But, it's good as well because we play in England so it's good to go back to Europe and train there in conditions we are used to. . . so everything is fine. . ."

"All good, all good. Was nice to meet all the people who were with us. And tonight, the atmosphere. . . I think we struggled a bit in traffic, I think other people as well were stuck in the traffic to come here to show up and the kind that showed up was just nice. That's really good. From a sports point of view, I'm happy to go back because obviously different time zone is something you need a couple days to adapt to and now we are in it and now we leave. But it's all good. We have an important week ahead of us that we go to Evian, France, and have there a proper training camp. Before that we have a very tricky game against Napoli and then the game against Lyon we pretty much organized only for the boys who game back. Hopefully, they can all feature some minutes in that game. It will be really important. Yeah, impression: outstanding. But how I said, after this trip nobody should talk to me too often anymore about Champions League trophy. That's now finished. I hope we don't carry that with us all the time still and . . . so that we can really start to write a new book or chapter or whatever."

"Yes, but this is the job of coach. You have to realize that some players go and this is not only for Bruno. It's not only for our team. It's for every team. The window is still 31st of August -- in England a little shorter -- but then every player can go and we can also buy some players. So, it's just wait and see at the moment."

Reactions after Liverpool draws 2-2 against Sporting Lisbon in a preseason friendly at Yankee Stadium in New York.
After three matches in the U.S., Liverpool will return to Europe for a match against Napoli in Edinburgh and another against Lyon during their training camp at Evian.
Sporting also returns to Europe to finish their preseason with a game against Valencia before facing rivals Benfica in the Portuguese Super Cup.
