A private bus collided with a car at a signal at Vizianagaram Collectorate junction in Andhra Pradesh. The car was crushed in the incident. Two people travelling in the car were severely injured. RWS Deputy Executive Engineer and Assistant Executive Engineer were travelling in a car from Bobbili. A private bus, which was speeding at the same time, crashed onto the car. Police rushed the injured to a local government hospital. The bus driver fled the scene immediately after the incident. The scenes were recorded on a CCTV camera.
