ఉగ్రవాదంపై పోరుకు తూర్పు ఆసియా సదస్సు నిర్ణయం

ఉగ్రవాదంపై ఉక్కుపాదం మోపాలని తూర్పు ఆసియా సదస్సులో సభ్య దేశాలు నిర్ణయించాయి. ఉగ్రవాదులకు నిధులు చేరవేసే అంశంలో రూపొందించిన అంతర్జాతీయ నిబంధనలు తప్పనిసరిగా అమలు చేయాలని సదస్సు నిర్ణయించింది. తీవ్రవాదం సహా భద్రతా సవాళ్లను ఎదుర్కోవడానికి సభ్యదేశాలు పరస్పరం సహకరించుకోవాలని సూచించింది.

ఉగ్రవాదంపై పోరు కొనసాగించడం సహా ఉగ్రవాద నిధుల సమీకరణపై కఠినంగా వ్యవహరించాలని తూర్పు ఆసియా సదస్సులో కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు నేతలు. ఉగ్రవాదానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని భారత్ సహా కూటమిలోని 18 దేశాలు ఈ మేరకు ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేశాయి.

తూర్పు ఆసియా సదస్సు 14వ సమావేశం ముగింపు సందర్భంగా భద్రతా సవాళ్లు, ఉగ్రవాద ముఠాలను ఎదుర్కోవడానికి తీసుకోవాల్సిన చర్యలపై ఓ ప్రకటన విడుదల చేశారు.

ఉగ్రవాదం, అంతర్జాతీయ నేరాలపై పరస్పర సహకారం అందించుకోవడంతో పాటు ఉగ్రవాద వ్యతిరేకంగా పనిచేసే ఫైనాన్షియల్ యాక్షన్ టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్, ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి ఆధ్వర్యంలోని డ్రగ్స్ అండ్ క్రైం వంటి అంతర్జాతీయ సంస్థల సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయాలని నిర్ణయించారు. ఉగ్రవాదులకు నిధులు అందజేయడానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా ఎఫ్ఏటీఎఫ్ రూపొందించిన నిబంధనలను తప్పనిసరిగా అమలు చేయాలని సంకల్పించాయి సభ్యదేశాలు.

ఉగ్రవాదులకు అంతర్జాలం వంటి అధునాతన సాంకేతికతల ఉపయోగాన్ని నివారించే ఆవశ్యకతను గుర్తించిన సదస్సు...అంతర్జాతీయ నేరాలపై పరస్పర సహకారాన్ని అందించుకోవాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ఆయా దేశాల చట్టాలకు అనుగుణంగా సహకరించుకోవాలని సభ్య దేశాలకు సూచించింది.

ఉగ్రవాదంపై ఉక్కుపాదం మోపాలని తూర్పు ఆసియా సదస్సులో సభ్య దేశాలు నిర్ణయించాయి. ఉగ్రవాదులకు నిధులు చేరవేసే అంశంలో రూపొందించిన అంతర్జాతీయ నిబంధనలు తప్పనిసరిగా అమలు చేయాలని సదస్సు నిర్ణయించింది. తీవ్రవాదం సహా భద్రతా సవాళ్లను ఎదుర్కోవడానికి సభ్యదేశాలు పరస్పరం సహకరించుకోవాలని సూచించింది.

STORYLINE:
OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN'S LEATHER JACKET AND BLACK PANTS FROM 'GREASE' FETCHES $405K AT AUCTION
Two collectors said 'you're the one that I want' to Olivia Newton-John's iconic "Grease" leather jacket and skintight pants at an auction Saturday in Beverly Hills.
Julien's Auctions says the combined ensemble, which Newton-John's character Sandy wears in the closing number of the 1978 film, fetched $405,700 total. The leather jacket sold for $243,200 and the pants, which Newton-John famously had to be sewn into, went for $162,500.
Other "Grease" memorabilia included a Pink Ladies jacket that went for $50,000 and a poster signed by Newton-John, John Travolta, director Randal Kleiser and producer and songwriter John Farrar, which sold for $64,000.
The proceeds from the jacket and pants, as well as a portion of the other items sold, will go the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre in Australia.
