Morena: 6 shot dead in blood feud between 2 Tomar families

A Tomar family at Lepa village of Madhya Pradesh opened fire on the rival family of the same community to avenge the murders that took place ten years ago. In this, six persons including two women died. The incident happened when one family, which left the village several years, came back today after reaching an agreement with the rival family.

Morena (Madhya Pradesh) : Blood for blood in Chambal - the age old saying is proved once again in Lepa village under Sihonian police station has proved this saying once again. Six persons including two women were shot dead. A Tomar family took opened fire on a family of the same community to seek revenge for murders 10 years ago. Over five people of the same family were killed and 3 others were injured.

The injured have been rushed to Morena district hospital for treatment. The police immediately reached the spot. Old enmity going on between Ranjit Tomar and Ramveer Singh Tomar was the reason for these killings. Due to this enmity, both the families once again came face to face on Friday morning. Firing started between both families who used rifles.

On behalf of Ramveer Tomar, a young man started firing with a rifle. In this firing, Gajendra Singh Tomar and his two sons Fundi Tomar and Sanju Tomar died on the spot due to bullet injuries. Apart from this, two women were gunned down. The total number of dead is said to be 6. The police rushed the injured in their vehicle to the district hospital for treatment. Silence has spread in the village. Nobody is coming out of their houses.

At the time of reporting this story, the bodies of the deceased are lying at the spot. About 10 years ago, the people of Ranjit Tomar's family had killed two people of Ramveer Tomar's side, sources said. After this incident, the people of the accused side had left. They reached an understanding and arrived in the village again today. But the family of Ramveer Paksha first attacked them with sticks to avenge the earlier murders. ASP Raisingh Narwariya says that due to the old enmity, there was a fight between the two parties today. The condition of two of the injured is worse.

Raghuraj, the family member of the deceased, says that in 2013 he had given land for the school, and had said that no one would use this land for domestic use, but the accused parties started pouring cow dung and pebbles on the school land.

When the complainant side objected to it, then there was a fight. At that time two people of the accused side were killed. Due to which Raghuraj's family members were imprisoned and the whole family started living outside. Raghuraj told that a year ago there was an agreement between both the parties and the accused party told them that they can come and stay in the village.

After this, Raghuraj Tomar, his family and women came from Ahmedabad today in a loading vehicle to Lepa village. They were getting down from the car, when 7-8 people from the accused side came with sticks and guns and surrounded them and attacked them. There was firing in which three people died on the spot while 5 were injured. After getting the information, the top police officers along with Sihoniya police force reached the spot.
