Kerala: Man kills wife, dumps body in river

A 35-year-old woman, who went missing from her residence in Kasaragod, was reportedly murdered and dumped by her husband. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Kundara in Kollam.

Kasaragod: A woman, who was reported missing from her residence in Pannipara on September 19, was allegedly murdered by her husband.

According to official sources, the deceased identified as Prameela was killed by her husband Seljo, who admitted to the crime during interrogation.

He admitted that he strangled his wife to death during a quarrel and later dumped her body into the Chandragiri River.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Kundara in Kollam.

Police are searching for the dead body in the Chandragiri River. Further, inquiries are being conducted by the police.

Seljo and Prameela were married for 11 years.

kasargod: Slejo and Prameela were married 11 years ago and lived in Pannipara, Kasaragod. Seljoh's testimony was that he was strangled to death during the quarrel and that his body was lowered into the river. Identified as Prameela, 35, a resident of Kundara, Kollam. They have two children. Missing women found dead in river. The police started enquiry at Chandragiri river for missing wife. Pramila has been missing since September 19. The police are conducting further inquiries into the murder of her husband Seljo.
