After her mother, Veda Krishnamurthy lost her sister to COVID-19

Ten days prior to losing her sister, Veda Krishnamurthy lost her mother Cheluvamba Devi (63), who also died of COVID-19.

Chikkamagaluru (Karnataka): India women's cricket team player Veda Krishnamurthy lost her sister Vatsala (40) on Thursday as the latter has succumbed to COVID-19.

After contracting the virus, Vatsala was admitted to a private hospital in Chikkamagaluru last month. She was receiving treatment there, but on Wednesday night, her condition deteriorated, and early Thursday, she breathed her last.
