Encephalitis claims eight more lives in Bihar's Samastipur

On Sunday, eight more children have lost their lives in Bihar’s Samastipur Sadar hospital due to suspected Acute Encephalitis Syndrome. AES special ward has been built in Sadar Hospital in order to give proper treatment to the children suffering from the disease.

Samastipur (Bihar): At least eight children died due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome in Samastipur's Sadar Hospital on Sunday.

The disease is no longer confined to Samastipur, but has also spread to other neighbouring districts.

In view of the medical crisis, an AES special ward has been built in Sadar Hospital in order to protect the children from the disease.

The children suffering from this disease are continuously being admitted here for treatment.

The number of children being hospitalized in AES special ward of Sadar Hospital is increasing by the day.

Many children of the district have been referred to DMCH.

However, the doctors are engaged in every possible effort to save the children from this serious disease.
