Rhino runs amok, attacks forest officer in Bihar

A forest officer in Gonauli forest range was hospitalized after he was attacked by a rhinoceros. Sources said that the rhinoceros strayed into a sugarcane field and devastated the crops. The villagers contacted the forest officers after the rhinoceros destroyed crops.

Bagaha: A forest officer in Bihar was seriously injured by a rhinoceros during an effort to rescue the animal in Gonauli forest.

Brajesh Paswan is undergoing treatment at the Harnatand Sub Health Center.

"I got injured as I tried to save the public," said Paswan. The incident occurred around 8 am in Kadamahia village.

Sources said that the rhinoceros strayed into a sugarcane field and devastated the crops. The villagers contacted the forest officers after the rhinoceros destroyed crops.
