Haryana Education Minister Kanwarpal Gujjar diagnosed with Dengue

Dengue is spreading rapidly in Haryana amid the fear of Covid-19. Many cases of Dengue are being reported from the Yamunanagar district of the state, meanwhile, Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar has also contracted Dengue. He has been admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali. Kanwarpal Gurjjar was suffering from fever for the last several days. At present, his condition is said to be fine.

Yamunanagar (Haryana): Dengue is spreading rapidly in Haryana amid the fear of Covid-19. Many cases of Dengue are being reported from the Yamunanagar district of the state, meanwhile, Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar has also contracted Dengue. He has been admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali. Kanwarpal Gurjjar was suffering from fever for the last several days. At present, his condition is said to be fine.

Yamunanagar CMO Dr Vijay Dahiya said that the health of Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar was bad for the last few days. His Dengue test came back positive. His platelets were also dropping, due to which he has been admitted to Mohali Fortis Hospital. His condition remains stable and his platelet count is steady.

Dengue situation in Yamunanagar

Recently, ETV Bharat had reported news about the increasing cases of Dengue in Yamunanagar. At that time, Yamunanagar Civil Surgeon Dr Vijay Dahiya informed that 126 samples have been taken in the district. 11 samples have tested Dengue positive. Four of them tested positive for Malaria. CMO Vijay Dahiya in Yamunanagar has confirmed 25 cases of Dengue.

According to the CMO, it is raining intermittently in the district. Due to which the number of Dengue patients is increasing. The Health Department has also appealed to the people not to keep water collected around them. They have also advised cleaning the cooler regularly so that Dengue and Malaria mosquitoes do not breed.

According to the Health Department, this disease spread through mosquito bites. This mosquito bites during the day. In Dengue, the patient gets a fever and then there is a shortage of platelets in the victim's blood.
