Mumbai (Maharashtra): Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan who has been lodged in Arthur Road Jail in the city recently spoke to his parents via video call and received Rs. 4500 via money order.

The junior Khan is currently in judicial custody after he was arrested by the NCB during a drug seizure on a Goa-bound cruise ship.

"As physical meetings with family members are not possible due to COVID-19 norms, all the undertrials are permitted to speak to their kin via video call once or twice a week.

Accordingly, Aryan Khan was allowed to speak to his father Shah Rukh Khan and mother Gauri Khan via audiovisual facility," a prison official said.

The jail authorities received the money order from Aryan Khan's family on October 11, which is meant for his expenses in the jail canteen. As per the rules of the jail, a prisoner can receive a money order of Rs 4,500 maximum for their expenses inside the jail.
