In view of the coronavirus outbreak, Gautam Budh Nagar Police station is undertaking all preventive measures such as using hand sanitizers and masks. Grievances of the local are taken into account only when people follow the prescribed guidelines and undertake precautionary measures.

New Delhi: In an effort to alleviate fear of coronavirus and to prevent spread of the infection, complaints at Gautam Budh Nagar Police station are registered only after people use sanitizers and temperature machine. Proper and adequate preventive measures such as masks, hand sanitizers are used at the work place to tackle the deadly situation.

Grievances of the local are taken into account only when people follow the prescribed guidelines and undertake precautionary measures. Not only this, the administration has also installed temperature detecting machine on the order of the Police Commissioner to protect the cops from Covid-19. Police at Gautam Budh Nagar station have taken such steps so that no policemen are affected due to Covid-19.

While talking to ETV Bharat, police officials said,"Everyday various people visit our police station. Keeping this in mind, our police station is using temperature dispenser machines, hand sanitizers. If any of the complaints are detected with any mild symptoms, we inform the Health Department immediately. We hope that by taking such measures our department can contribute a little to fight against coronavirus."

The entire country is battling the coronavirus pandemic by taking various preventive measures. State governments and Health Ministry are continuously advising people to undertake precautions such as washing hands at regular intervals and not to create panic.

In view of Covid-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the citizens to abide by the guidelines of 'Janta Curfew' on March 22 from 7 am to 9 pm and to stay indoors. The cases of coronavirus are increasing rapidly across the world with the count crossing 245,749 globally and 195 in India. Global death toll rose to 10,048 on Friday, with India reporting four deaths due to Covid-19.
