Sunil Bansal, who headed the dairy business of Yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved, died on May 19 due to Covid-related complications.

Jaipur:Yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved's dairy business CEO, Sunil Bansal died due to Covid-19 related complications.

Though Bansal died on May 19, his death comes to the fore at a time when Ramdev is courting controversy over his statements over allopathic medicines and Covid.

The 57-year-old Bansal died due to severe lung damage and brain hemorrhage due to Covid-19 and related complications, said Rajasthan hospital in Jaipur where he was admitted for treatment.

Bansal, a specialist in dairy sciences, took charge of Patanjali’s dairy business in 2018 and was heading the business smoothly.
