New Delhi:Senior advocate Zafaryab Jeelani told ETV Bharat that the Babri Masjid Action Committee will file a petition in the Supreme Court seeking to receive the debris of the demolished Babri Mosque.

He informed that the discussion in this regard is going on, however, any decision will be taken after meetings.

Besides this, Jeelani said that in a meeting held in Lucknow, it has also been decided that a curative petition will be filed soon in the apex court against the Ayodhya verdict of November.

A bench headed by the former Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi, in the verdict gave the whole disputed land of Ayodhya to the Hindus and had given 5 acres of alternate land to the Muslims.

However, a bunch of review petitions challenging the verdict were filed in the top court by the Muslim parties and the Hindus, but all have been rejected by the court.
