3 teachers under investigation for fake pan card case

The Uttar Pradesh government has been checking and verifying documents of teachers as there have been cases wherein fake documents were used to secure job as a teacher.

Kannauj: Yet another case of forgery, involving people working as teachers in Uttar Pradesh, has come to the fore wherein three teachers have been found to have submitted the same PAN card, official sources said here.

The state government has been checking documents of the teachers after a number of discrepancies and fake documents were found in official records of the appointed teachers.

Uttar Pradesh has been in news over the issue for a long time as teachers were found to be working on forged B. Ed. (Bachelor of Education) and other educational degrees. Some of them were even found to have secured a job in the education department of the state on somebody else's documents.

It triggered the government to investigate and set things right in the department.

Officials said that PAN card matter is being investigated and action would be taken against the guilty.
