The education minister said that work has started rapidly in the direction of implementing the new education policy and under it, along with major reforms and changes in the field of education, they will also perform better.

Hyderabad: Addressing the 18th convocation of MIT Warangal today, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said today that as the country is moving ahead with the new education policy, there will be huge opportunities in the field of technology and innovation.

He said today, not only artificial intelligence but effective intelligence is also needed. With effective intelligence, we will move forward with strength, in which talent will also be identified, developed, and expanded.

Emphasizing the importance of research, Nishank said that in order to implement the new education policy, the establishment of the National Research Institute and the National Education Technology Forum will also be formed soon.

The education minister said that work has started rapidly in the direction of implementing the new education policy and under it, along with major reforms and changes in the field of education, they will also perform better. Referring to the Prime Minister's call for India's economy to reach $5 trillion by 2024, the Education Minister said in his address that the road to self-reliant India and prosperous India passes through crores of youth and students of the country.

Referring to 'Study in India', an ambitious initiative of the Ministry of Education, Nishank said that under this scheme, more than 50 thousand students from outside the country have already registered in it and further the government wants under the 'Stay in India' campaign That is to prevent students from going abroad. Every year more than eight lakh students go to study abroad, due to which 1.5 lakh crore rupees go from country to other countries of the world. In this way, not only the wealth of the country but also the country's talent goes out.

Nishank said that now is the time to instill confidence in these students that world-class education is available in the country today and students here do not need to go anywhere else. India is the largest democratic country with more than 1000 universities, 45000 degree colleges, more than 1.5 million schools, more than 1 crore 9 lakh teachers and more than 33 crore students.

Today, the population of America is less than the students of our country and Hindustan is going to live in the country for the next 25 years. The Education Minister appreciated NIT Warangal and said that this institute is among the 4 top NITs in the country and with such an institute we can give a new direction to the country and the world.
