Jaipur (Rajasthan): Ruksana Mansuri, former and the youngest Councillor of Jaipur Municipal Corporation, died on Tuesday due to excessive bleeding while she was admitted at a hospital for childbirth.
Ruksana was admitted at Mahila Chikitsalaya, a women’s hospital at Sanganeri Gate in Jaipur, around 6:30 in the morning and she breathed her last at 7:30.
The family members of the deceased have accused the hospital authorities of negligence of duty while treating Ruksana.
According to the relatives, Ruksana was first denied admission at the hospital and once admitted she was made to walk the corridor which is when she started bleeding and died later.

Following complaints from Ruksana’s family, Hospital Superintendent Dr Asha Varma has formed an inquiry committee to look into the incident.
Meanwhile, Ruksana’s body has been sent for post-mortem at Jaipur’s Sawai Maan Singh hospital.
