New Delhi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha executive chairman and former Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren denied the reports of seat-sharing-tensions among the allaince after meeting Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ratanjit Pratap Narain Singh on Friday.
"There are no issues in the matter of seat sharing of the grand allaince in Jharkhand," Soren said while speaking with ETV Bharat.
"Seat distribution should be announced soon so that the candidates can step down into the field and start working," he said.
Hemant Soren is to meet Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday to discuss seat sharing.
"We want that Left also get a place in the grand allaince. We have had a coalition with the Left, and the results were good in the elections. The Left should interact with the Congress also to creating mutual synergy which can give progressive results in the elections," he added.
There are reports of tensions arising between JMM and Congress over the Jamshedpur, Chaibasa seats.
