New Delhi: Indian Youth Congress, on Thursday, took out a symbolic protest against the Central Government over the rising prices of Petrol, diesel and LPG cylinders.
As a mark of protest, IYC President Srinivas BV, along with other workers of the party, rode bicycles and led the agitation with a huge LPG cylinder effigy from Raisina Road to the inner circle of Connaught Place in Delhi.

While speaking to the media, Srinivas said, "In the last 7 years, the Modi government has earned more than Rs 22 lakh crores on the prices of petrol and diesel but nothing else has come in the hands of the common man except helplessness. The increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, and LPG cylinder made one thing clear, Modi Hai to Mahengai hai."

He further added, "The loot policy of Modi government has given inflation as a gift to the people of this country. The centre is looting the public by increasing the prices of petrol diesel and cooking gas. These skyrocketing fuel prices and inflation have become the hallmark of the Modi government." The Youth Congress has demanded that the Center "either reduce this inflation or leave the chair".
