Rohini Court Shootout: 18 bullet wounds found on Gogi's body; mastermind Tillu grilled

Skeletons in the murder of gangster Jitendra Gogi have started tumbling out. Sensational details have come out during the post-mortem of the slain gangster. Eighteen bullet wounds were found on Jitendra Gogi's body while conducting the post-mortem. Similarly, 22 bullet injuries were found on the bodies of killers, Rahul Tyagi and Jagdeep alias Jagga. On the other hand, the Crime Branch, which is investigating the case, questioned Sunil Mann alias Tillu, the kingpin of Gogi's rival gang. New Delhi: Sensational details have come out during the post-mortem of gangster Jitendra Gogi who was killed in a shootout at Rohini Court in Delhi. Eighteen bullet wounds were found on the body of the notorious gangster while conducting the post-mortem.

Similarly, 22 bullets injuries were found on the bodies of Rahul Tyagi and Jagdeep alias Jagga. On the other hand, the Crime Branch, which is investigating the case, went to Mandoli Jail on Wednesday and questioned Sunil Mann alias Tillu, the kingpin of Gogi's rival gang. Meanwhile, he reportedly denied hatching a conspiracy to eliminate Gogi.

According to sources, Jitendra Gogi was being murdered in police custody; post-mortem was not conducted at Ambedkar Hospital instead it was done at the Maulana Azad Medical College Hospital on Sunday. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to his family.

At the same time, the post-mortem of the bodies of both the attackers killed in the incident was conducted on Monday at Maulana Azad Medical College. During the post-mortem, it was found that Rahul Tyagi received 19 bullet injuries while Jagdeep alias Jagga three.

Umang Yadav and Vinay Mota, who were arrested in connection with this case, have made many important revelations before the police. The accused have told the police that they had left both the attackers outside the court in the car. After the arrest of Umang, a pistol has also been found by the police from his house, and a case of Arms Act has been registered against him. Umang told the police that Tillu had provided this weapon to kill Gogi.

In the investigation so far, the police have come to know that five people had gone to court to carry out the attack. Among them were Rahul, Jagdeep, Vinay, Umang and others. But, after reaching the court, they changed their plan and only Rahul and Jagdeep went inside the court to execute the murder.

The Crime Branch has come to know during the investigation that both the attackers were standing in two different directions while firing at Gogi. One of them was carrying a .38 bore pistol while the other had a .30 bore pistol. It has been told in the statement from the police that eight bullets were fired from the Special Cell, 13 by the commandos of the IIIrd Battalion and two from the Rohini Special Staff.

Police sources said that the investigation so far has revealed that more than 40 bullets have been fired in the Rohini court at the time of the incident. The statements of the policemen, who were present on the spot at the time of the incident, are also being recorded by the Crime Branch.

It may be recalled that on September 24, the undertrial prisoner Jitendra Gogi, was shot dead inside the Rohini Court. Apart from the judge, the lawyer and the police personnel were present in the court at the time of the attack. The attackers were already waiting for Gogi in the courtroom wearing a lawyer's dress. As soon as Gogi entered the court, criminals dressed as lawyers opened fire at Gogi. In retaliation, the team of the IIIrd Battalion, Special Staff and Special Cell fired at the assailants Tyagi and Jagga.
