Parineeti Chopra and Kangana Ranaut are absolutely poles apart as individuals. But these two actors have one thing in common which we are not sure if they are aware of.

dating another actor is challenging

Parineeti, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film 'Jabariya Jodi', spoke about the attributes her prince charming should have to get a space in her heart. The actor who is undoubtedly every interviewer's delight recently shared how she dealt with career lull, a major heart break and financial crisis all at same time.

Pari also got candid about how fickle in nature friendships and relationships are in film industry. The actor, who was reportedly in a relationship with filmmaker Maneesh Sharma, is of late making headlines for allegedly dating assistant director Cahrit Desai.

The 30-year-old actor in a recent web show made it clear that actors do not stand a chance to date her. Yes, you read it right but she has reasons supporting her stance.

For Ms Chopra, actors are self-obsessed beings and they are so engrossed in what they do and thus according to her they are incapable of nurturing a relationship.

"There is a difference between sharing your day and doing only that," said Parineeti explaining how an actor can be big put off when they end up discussing only about what they shot and how they looked.

"Even if he is an actor, he has to be a real, normal guy. That's my requirement," said Parineeti.

Well, Parineeti is not the only one who doesn't see herself in a relationship with an actor. Kangana Ranaut is another Bollywood diva who finds it difficult to date actor.

For Kangana, the issue is different. The 'Judgementall Hai Kya' actor in 2015 said: “It’s not healthy to date an actor.”

By saying that she meant that unintentionally sense of competition kicks in when two people from same profession are in a relationship.

It's not only that the girls are hesitant to get romantically involved with a peer but there are leading men in the industry who apparently have swore to not date actresses.

Kangana's 'Rangoon' co-star Shahid Kapoor too raised a few eyebrows when he said that he is scared of dating actresses.

John Abraham too had once said that his marriage with banker Priya Runchal is better than the "two walking the red carpet." The 'Dhoom' actor who has had his fair share of dating Bollywood divas was apparently hinting at the grit beneath the glamour.

Before Parineeti and Kangana, apparently not many Bollywood divas have had courage to speak about how dating someone within the industry can add oodles of complexity to the relationship.

However, many long standing marriages in B-town stand testimony to the other side of the story where actors are working towards making their relationship work.

Kajol-Ajay Devgn, Genelia D'Souza-Riteish Deshmukh, Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu-Karan Singh Grover are few actor-couples who relatively have smooth sailing ride so far.

While the young brigade seems to be following the mantra of growing together, the same was apparently not the case with the yesteryear couples.

Saira Bano, Neetu Singh, Mandakini, Nargis Dutt and Babita are among those who bid goodbye to their career post marriage and their better halves were apparently happy to have a star at home letting go of her dreams to nurture the family.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Vidya Balan, Rani Mukerji, Radhika Apte, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika and Aishwarya are working hard to extinct the belief that leading ladies have to settle for character roles once they enter wedlock.

Fortunately, the time has changed and so is the long-drawn notion of looking upon marriage as a hurdle in career is a thing of past for Bollywood leading ladies.
