Unnao: Doctors at a private hospital in Uttar Pradesh have removed 35 iron nails and 5-inch long iron bars from the stomach of a youngster, reports say.
The man identified as Karan, a resident of Bhatwa village, was operated upon in the city of Unnao.
The surgery, which lasted three hours, was performed by a team of four doctors headed by Dr Radharaman Awasthi.
Doctors said the patient had complained of stomach pain for some time and they were shocked to see the metal pieces in various scan results.

The young man is breathing normally now and his family expressed their gratitude to the hospital.
