Ram Temple: Doctors to wear saffron coats during deliveries in UP's Sambhal

The tide of religious fervour is sweeping all sections of Ram devotees so much so doctors in UP's Sambhal have decided to wear saffron coats while conducting deliveries on Monday, the day of Ayodhya Temple consecration. Dr. Vandana of Subhash Nursing Home, Chandausi, told ETV Bharat that the delivery room has been decorated and turned into a mini temple to first place the newborns in front of Shri Ram before being shifted to the cradle.

Sambhal : Devotees are deciding to express their excitement in a myriad ways on the day of the Ram Temple consecration in Ayodhya on Monday. To make this day special, doctors at a nursing home in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, have made special preparations to make deliveries special. These doctors will have decided to wear saffron coats while conducting deliveries for pregnant women. They will also chant mantras.

What more, after deliveries are over, the newborn babies will be kept in the mini temple of Lord Shri Ram for some time and special worship will be offered on the occasion.

On the other hand, preparations are being made everywhere in Ayodhya to celebrate the Pran Pratishtha program. All government offices, streets and squares are being decorated like a bride. Saffron is visible all around. The whole atmosphere has become Rammay (full of Ram). Everyone wants to make this day memorable and is making special preparations for it.

Doctors in Sambhal have taken another initiative, which is to give a special discount for deliveries on 22nd January. At the Subhash Nursing Home in Chandausi, the delivery room has been decorated like a temple. A mini temple of Lord Shri Ram has been built in the newborn's room in the nursing home. A cradle has been placed near this temple, which has been decorated with flowers. Hospital doctor Dr. Vandana said that Ram Lalla consecration will take place on Monday and so she is making special preparations for the pregnant women in their hospital.

She said that the doctors and staff of their hospital will be seen in saffron dress. A mini temple of Lord Shri Ram has been built in the delivery room. Where the newborns will first be placed in front of Lord Shri Ram. After this the newborn baby will be kept in a cradle decorated with flower garlands.

Hanuman Chalisa to be recited- Doctor Vandana said that pregnant women will also be given darshan of Lord Shri Ram before delivery. She said that Hanuman Chalisa will be recited in the hospital on 22nd January in the morning. Everyone wants to make the Ram Temple consecration memorable and people are trying to do something different to cherish the memories of the consecration day forever. The atmosphere is becoming joyful all around. Everyone is seen immersed in the devotion of Lord Shri Ram.
