ఆసియా షూటింగ్‌: తేజస్వినికి ఒలింపిక్​ బెర్త్​ ఖరారు

భారత షూటర్​ తేజస్విని సావంత్..​ టోక్యో ఒలింపిక్స్​ బెర్తు సంపాదించింది. ఆసియా షూటింగ్‌ ఛాంపియన్‌షిప్‌ 50 మీటర్ల మహిళల రైఫిల్​ విభాగంలో ఫైనల్‌కు వెళ్లిన ఈ షూటర్​... ఐదో స్థానంలో నిలిచింది. ఫలితంగా పతకం సాధించలేకపోయినా భారత్​కు ఒలింపిక్​ కోటా స్థానాన్ని అందించింది.

దోహా వేదికగా జరుగుతోన్న 14వ ఆసియా షూటింగ్​ ఛాంపియన్​షిప్​ ఫైనల్లో నిరాశపర్చింది మహిళా షూటర్​ తేజస్విని. శనివారం జరిగిన 50 మీటర్ల మహిళల రైఫిల్​ విభాగంలో ఫైనల్‌కు వెళ్లిన ఈ షూటర్.. 1171 పాయింట్లతో ఐదో స్థానంలో నిలిచింది. పతకం సాధించలేకపోయినా ఒలింపిక్‌ బెర్త్​ సంపాదించింది. తొలిసారి మెగాటోర్నీలో ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహించనుంది.

తేజస్విని.. ప్రపంచ ఛాంపియన్​షిప్​లో స్వర్ణం, ప్రపంచకప్​, కామన్వెల్త్​ క్రీడల్లో పతకాలు తెచ్చింది.

2010లో మ్యూనిచ్​ వేదికగా జరిగిన ప్రపంచ ఛాంపియన్​షిప్​లో ప్రపంచ రికార్డును సమం చేసింది. ఈ గేమ్స్​లో తొలిసారి స్వర్ణం గెలిచిన తొలి క్రీడాకారిణిగా ఘనత సాధించింది.

చింకీ 11వ బెర్త్​ కైవసం...

భారత యువ షూటర్‌ చింకీ యాదవ్‌.. టోక్యో ఒలింపిక్స్‌ బెర్తు సంపాదించింది. ఆసియా షూటింగ్‌ ఛాంపియన్‌షిప్‌లో 25 మీటర్ల మహిళల పిస్టల్‌ విభాగంలో ఫైనల్‌కు వెళ్లిన చింకీ.. భారత్‌కు ఒలింపిక్‌కు అర్హత సాధించింది.

మహిళల 25 మీటర్ల పిస్టల్‌ విభాగంలో భారత్‌కు ఇది రెండో ఒలింపిక్‌ కోటా స్థానం. ఇంతకుముందు రాహి సర్నోబత్‌ బెర్తు సంపాదించింది.
