బర్మింగ్​హామ్​ వేదికగా న్యూజిలాండ్​తో జరుగిన మ్యాచ్​లో దక్షిణాఫ్రికా బ్యాట్స్​మెన్​ హషీమ్​ ఆమ్లా మరో రికార్డు సాధించాడు. ఈ ఆటలో అర్ధశతకంతో రాణించిన ఆమ్లా... భారత సారథి విరాట్​ కోహ్లీ రికార్డును కొద్దిలో మిస్సయ్యాడు.

​ప్రపంచకప్‌లో దక్షిణాఫ్రికా స్టార్​ ఓపెనర్​ హషీమ్​ ఆమ్లా వన్డేల్లో 8వేల పరుగుల వ్యక్తిగత మైలురాయిని అందుకున్నాడు. ఎడ్జ్​బాస్టన్​ మైదానంలో బుధవారం న్యూజిలాండ్‌తో జరిగిన మ్యాచ్‌లో ఈ అరుదైన ఘనత సాధించాడు. ఈ మ్యాచ్​లో వ్యక్తిగత స్కోరు 24 పరుగుల వద్ద వన్డేల్లో అత్యంత వేగంగా 8వేల పరుగుల మైలురాయిని అందుకున్న రెండో ఆటగాడిగా రికార్డు సాధించాడు. టీమిండియా సారథి విరాట్‌ కోహ్లీ 175 ఇన్నింగ్స్‌ల్లోనే ఈ ఘనత అందుకోగా, ఆమ్లా 176 ఇన్నింగ్స్‌ల్లో ఈ మైలురాయిని చేరుకున్నాడు.

అత్యంత వేగంగా 8వేల పరుగుల మైలురాయిని అందుకున్న తొలి దక్షిణాఫ్రికా ఆటగాడిగా రికార్డు సృష్టించాడు ఆమ్లా. ఈ క్లబ్‌లో చేరిన నాలుగో దక్షిణాఫ్రికా ఆటగాడిగానూ పేరు లిఖించుకున్నాడు. ఇప్పటివరకు ఈ జాబితాలో జాక్వెస్‌ కలిస్‌(11,579), డివిలియర్స్‌(9577), గిబ్స్‌(8094) పరుగులతో తొలి మూడు స్థానాల్లో ఉన్నారు.

"The starting point is that the court room is the venue where we have to present our case. We've always said that we have faith that we will achieve our goal. That goal was and is to find the truth, to criminally prosecute those responsible. Today I can tell you that we've come to this stage where we can say that we are going to prosecute. It's four people who we held accountable as suspects for bringing in the deadly weapon, a BUK Telar into the eastern Ukraine."

"Today we will send out international arrest warrants for the four suspects that we will prosecute. They will also be placed on national and international wanted lists and because of that we will reveal their full names and we will show you their pictures. And the four persons are: Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinskiy, Oleg Pulatov and Leonid Karchenko. Suspects Girki, Dubinskiy and Pulatov have the Russian nationality and our information points to the fact that they currently reside in Russia. Suspect Karchenko has the Ukrainian nationality and we assume that he resides in eastern Ukraine, and this is an area that is currently not under supervision of the central authorities in Kiev. On the 17th of July 2014 all four suspects were in eastern Ukraine. They played a crucial part in the armed conflict and they had important positions, and the video will further explain."

STORYLINE:
Dutch National Police chief Wilbert Paulissen has named 3 Russians and 1 Ukrainian as murder suspects in the MH17 downing.
Paulissen identified the men as Russians Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinskiy and Oleg Pulatov, and Ukrainian Leonid Karchenko.
He said all four men had been in eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014, the day of the plane crash, adding "they played a crucial part in the armed conflict and they had important positions."
Paulissen was speaking at a news conference of an international team of investigators building a criminal case against those responsible in the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17.
All 298 passengers and crew on board the flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur were killed on July 17, 2014, when a missile shattered the Boeing 777 in midair sending debris and bodies raining down onto farms and fields of sunflowers.
The families of those killed will be informed of developments Wednesday ahead of a news conference by investigators.
