డెన్మార్క్ వెళ్లేందుకు సైనాకు వీసా కష్టాలు

డెన్మార్క్ ఓపెన్​లో ఆడేందుకు వీసాకు దరఖాస్తు చేసింది స్టార్ షట్లర్ సైనా నెహ్వాల్. అయితే తన దరఖాస్తు ప్రక్రియ ఇంకా కొనసాగుతూనే ఉందని చెప్పింది.

భారత స్టార్ షట్లర్ సైనా నెహ్వాల్​ వీసా కష్టాలు ఎదుర్కుంటోంది. వచ్చే వారంలో జరగనున్న డెన్మార్క్ ఓపెన్​ టోర్నీలో ఆడేందుకు వీసాకు దరఖాస్తు చేసింది సైనా. అయితే ఇంకా తన దరఖాస్తు ప్రక్రియ కొనసాగుతోందని, సమయానికి పని పూర్తవుతుందని ఆశిస్తున్నానని ట్విట్టర్లో తెలిపింది సైనా.

"హైదరాబాద్​లో నా వీసా అప్లికేషన్ ప్రక్రియ ఇంకా కొనసాగుతూనే ఉంది. ఈ రోజు సెలవైనా.. నా విన్నపాన్ని మన్నించి ప్రక్రియ కొనసాగిస్తున్నందుకు కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రిత్వ శాఖ అధికారులకు కృతజ్ఞతలు. శుక్రవారం డెన్మార్క్ పయనమవ్వాల్సి ఉంది.. ఈ లోపు వీసా వస్తుందని ఆశిస్తున్నా" - సైనా నెహ్వాల్, భారత షట్లర్

అక్టోబరు 15 నుంచి 20 వరకు డెన్మార్క్ ఓపెన్ జరగనుంది. గత ఏడాది ఈ టోర్నీలో సైనా రన్నరప్​గా నిలిచింది. తుదిపోరులో చైనాకు చెందిన తైజు-ఇంగ్ చేతిలో పరాజయం పాలైంది.

STORYLINE
The announcement of the Nobel Prize in Physics started on Tuesday with a reference to the hit TV series Big Bang Theory, with a member of the Academy reciting the first lines of the theme song.
"Our whole universe was in a hot, dense state. Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started…"  professor Ulf Danielsson said.
Ulf Danielsson told The Associated Press he loved the show, while Prof. Goran Hansson, Secretary General of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said the show was a "fantastic achievement" in bringing the "world of science to laptops and living rooms around the world."
"The Big Bang Theory" debuted in 2007 and overcame early doubts to become a cult classic. The show was led by a crew of nerdy misfits, all scientists on the west coast of the United States.
During the finale, the show's friends took one last trip together to support married couple Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) after they won the Nobel Prize in physics.
The couple waited anxiously by the phone while friends prank called them before receiving the actual decision.
On Tuesday,  Goran Hansson, the Secretary General of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, said he hoped the fans of the show liked this year's Nobel Prizes, adding "I hope that Sheldon and Amy are not too disappointed today."
Three scientists have won the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics for their contribution to the understanding of the evolution of the universe and "Earth's place in the cosmos."
One half of the award was given to James Peebles "for theoretical discoveries in physical cosmology," and the other half jointly to Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz "for the discovery of an exoplanet orbiting a solar-type star."
They will share a 9-million kronor (918-thousand US dollars) cash award, a gold medal and a diploma. The laureates will receive them at a ceremony in Stockholm on December 10.
