Karimnagar (Telangana): In what might seem like a scene straight out of an action flick, a speeding car was sent flying and got stuck on the tin shed of a grocery store after the driver tried to evade a bicycle in Ganneruvaram, here on Monday.
According to reports, the driver of the speeding car, which was travelling towards Karimnagar from Hyderabad on the Rajiv Rahadari (State Highway), tried to evade a child on a bicycle.
In doing so, the car reportedly rammed into the flag-post of a political party and flew towards a roadside grocery store, and landed on its tin roof.
The car then remained dangerously balanced between the compound wall of the shed and its tin roof, with all passengers trapped inside as they could not open the doors.
The locals too were unsuccessful in their attempts to bring the passengers down.
On receiving information, police then rushed to the spot and got the car down on the ground with the help of a crane.
Four of the passengers sustained injuries while the child on the bicycle suffered a broken leg. They were rushed to the hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, an investigation into the matter is underway.
