Smouldering body of woman found in Karnataka village

Locals in a Hoskote village found the smouldering body of a woman. Police suspect the woman may have been murdered before her body was set on fire.

Mysore: A smouldering body of a woman was found in the midst of a fire near the village of Hoskote in Periyapattana taluk.

Police suspect the woman may have been murdered and burnt on the roadside. The local villagers found the smouldering body on the road in Hoskote village of Kellur in Periyapattana taluk. They informed the police who arrived and started an inquiry.

The identity of the woman has not been discovered. Police are investigating the case.
