Meerut (Uttar Pradesh): The dreaded gangster of western Uttar Pradesh, Anil Dujana, was gunned down in an encounter on Thursday. Now, Omprakash, the brother of the gangster, levelled allegations against the UP Special Task Force (STF) on Friday. Omprakash further alleged that his brother had gone to the Karkardooma Court in New Delhi to surrender. "But, the UP STF picked up my brother from there and killed him in an encounter in Meerut," he alleged.

On Thursday, the Uttar Pradesh STF gunned down the gangster Dujana near Bhola Jhal in the Jani police station area of the district. Omprakash, who was in Meerut to take the body of the deceased brother, had been waiting outside the hospital. Speaking further, Omprakash said, "My brother was going to surrender before the Karkardooma Court with his lawyer. I came to know about my brother's death after seeing the news on television."

"My brother had secured bail in all the cases pending against him. The case filed by the wife of the deceased Jaichand alleging that my brother was threatening the witnesses was completely wrong. I was shifted to New Delhi about 10 years ago from my native village Dujana. My parents are no more. One of my brothers Jai Bhagwan was murdered. My two other brothers also left the village and settled in New Delhi," said Omprakash. "My brother was not committing any crime. The case was filed by STF wherein it was stated that my brother was threatening witnesses. But there was no truth in it," he added.
