Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar criticised Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari after police in Mumbai blocked protesting farmers who marched on the Governor's official residence with a statement. Some scuffles with the police were reported.

Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar on Monday lashed out at state Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. "The governor has time to meet Kangana Ranaut, but has no time for the farmers from all corners of Maharashtra," Pawar said while addressing a farmers' rally in Mumbai.

He clarified that this is an order of the Honourable Court.
