Ernakulam (Kerala): The health condition of Malayalam film actor Tovino Thomas remains stable, said a medical bulletin released by the private hospital where the actor is undergoing treatment.
According to the report, Tovino's injury might have been caused by a kick in the abdomen while filming action sequences for his upcoming movie 'Kala' directed by Rohit V S.

Tovino was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Wednesday for a 48-hour observation due to internal bleeding.
According to the medical bulletin, he will undergo another Angiogram test on Friday. A blood clot was found in the C T Angiogram test conducted on the day he was admitted to the hospital.
The bulletin added that the hospital staff are administering him medications to help stabilise his blood count. The medical bulletin added that the actors condition has been stable for the past 24 hours.
The hospital authorities ruled out chances of another internal bleeding. After the 48-hour observation, Tovino will undergo another Angiogram test.
If the health condition deteriorates again, the actor will undergo a Laparoscopic test as well, explained the medical bulletin.
