Bengaluru: Girl accuses father of ordering assault on her

A man allegedly gave supari to a thug to assault his daughter. This incident happened at Pulikeshinagar in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru (Karnataka): Riya R Sancheti a resident of Shankarapura made serious allegations against her father Ravi Sancheti.

On November 24, she was travelling with her friends from Basavanagudi to Pottery Road. Enroute a man stopped Riya's car, grabbed her hair and pulled her out of the vehicle. He then also broke her car's windshield.

Later, the locals caught him and handed him over to the police.

According to police Riya and her mother, Asha have not been on talking terms with Ravi following a domestic dispute. Ravi filed divorce petition after the incident. It is said that Ravi illegally married another woman following the dispute.

So Riya and her mother submitted a document to the court saying that Ravi married another woman and subsequently his divorce petition was rejected, the police say.

"For this reason, he attacked me and my mother," Riya said.

A case has been registered at the Pulikeshi city police station in connection with the case.
