Yadav informed that BJP will have an alliance with some other small parties including Apna Dal in UP as it has maximum support from all sections of people in the state. On being asked if BJP may get the benefit of joining hands with JDU in the upcoming polls as Nitish Kumar is one of the biggest leaders of the backward castes, Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself comes from a backward section of the society and has a massive support of every section.

"There may be an alliance of BJP with JDU in UP, but the final decision in this regard will be taken by the BJP high command," he stated. With BJP all set to form government in UP once again, preparations are in full swing. "If there is no alliance with the BJP, JDU will contest on 200 seats," Tyagi claimed.

According to Tyagi, backward classes and farmers formed the BJP government in UP and at the Centre but they are heavily disappointed as they did not get proper representation. "The backward classes are upset as UP government failed to take their opinion even in big decisions while the farmers are angry over Centre's three farm laws," Tyagi said. "If JDU will fight on 200 seats in UP, it will give more tickets to farmers and backward classes as it has a stronghold on Kurmi-Kushwaha vote bank and their population is about 15 per cent in UP," he added.
