At the end of second day's play in Chennai, both Siraj and Kuldeep were seen involved in a scuffle outside the dressing room after which Siraj grabbed Kuldeep by his neck.

Chennai: As Joe Root and co. continued to torment India in the first Test in Chennai, at the end of the second day of the match a dramatic incident shocked cricket fraternity. In a video surfacing on Twitter, Mohammed Siraj can be seen grabbing wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav by his neck.

Both Siraj and Kuldeep were not considered for the first Test against England. Siraj, who was India's highest wicket-taker in Australia with 13 wickets in three matches, was replaced by veteran pacer Ishant Sharma, while Shahbaz Nadeem got preference ahead of Kuldeep Yadav.

Kuldeep last played for India two years ago in Sydney where he took five wickets. Following that match, the Kanpur spinner has never been considered for the Test. It was surprising to see India preferring Nadeem over experienced Kuldeep for the Chennai Test.

Now, on Saturday in a viral video, both players were seen involved in a scuffle outside the dressing room after which Siraj grabbed Kuldeep by his neck.

However, there is still no clarity about the incident. It is expected that the details about the incident will be revealed later.
