Mumbai: The makers of ready to stream web series Code M have dropped a gripping trailer earlier today. The trailer hints at power-packed performance by televisions' sweetheart Jennifer Winget in a tough role of Indian Army lawyer, Monica Mehra.
Going by the trailer, Jennifer is on a task to unearth truth behind an open and close case of a militant encounter. In the bid, Winget uncovers an uncomfortable truth while investigating the case which shakes up the entire fabric of the Indian Army.
The story then takes a turn when it is learned that the encounter was fake and officer's death was a planned murder.

Code M pictures Jennifer completely different than what has audience seen if her so far. The actor earlier said that she is super excited because the project gives her opportunity to explore different sides of herself as an artiste.
"I want to do all kinds of roles and with Code M, I got the chance to try out action. Also, coming back to Balaji is like coming back to my family. Ekta Kapoor is a fantastic person and when you work with such people it always feels great," she had stated.
Code M which marks Jennifer's digital debut also features Tanuj Virani and Rajat Kapoor in pivotal roles. The series is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor's ALTBalaji and Zee5.
