Hyderabad: Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi has an attractive slate with multiple interesting movies lined up. As Chiranjeevi's Acharya helmed by Koratala Siva is gearing up for release soon, his other projects are progressing well too. Two of his announced projects are Godfather and Bhola Shankar.
While the buzz around Godfather, an official remake of Malayalam super hit Lucifer continues to gather momentum whispers about pop sensation Britney Spears being roped in for a song in the film are growing louder.
If reports are to be believed, the makers of Godfather are planning to bring Hollywood's pop sensation Britney Spears on board to croon a racy song for Chiranjeevi. Bollywood star Salman Khan too may make a cameo appearance in this movie. But there is no official confirmation regarding Britney Spears' song for Godfather and Salman's appearance as well. This Mohan Raja directorial is to feature Chiranjeevi in the lead reprising Mohanlal's role.

Touted to be an intense political drama, Godfather will be Chiranjeevi's 153rd film. Produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good films, Godfather has music composed by Thaman S. Details of the film are still under wraps.
Chiranjeevi also has Bhola Shankar coming up next. It will be his first collaboration with director-screenwriter Meher Ramesh, who has previously worked with Prabhas, Jr NTR and Venkatesh.
