Farmer beaten to death over property row in Bulandshahr

A farmer was beaten to death by his neighbours over a property issue with sticks and axes in Bangrua village under Saujana police station area in Bulandshahr. They also tried to kill his son when he stopped them from beating his father. But he managed to escape.

Bulandshahr: A 40-year-old farmer was beaten to death with sticks and axes by at least 12 men over a property dispute in front of his wife and son in Bangrua village under Saujana station area of Bulandshahr.

One of the accused Prabhu Dayal Khangar also tried to kill the farmer's son when he tried to stop them from beating his father. Accused tied the deceased's son to a cart in an attempt to kill him. But he managed to escape.

It is being told that the farmer had issues with his neighbours over a property. The incident occurred when Prabhudayal was returning to the village with his son Surendra and wife Sheela. The assassins, who were hiding, stopped him and attacked him with sticks and axes.

The police team reached the village and sent the body of the deceased for postmortem and admitted his son and wife to the community Health Centre in Mehrauni.

Police registered a case against accused and arrested two of them whereas, a search is on to nab the others.

The Superintendent of Police, Mirza Manjar Baig said, "Two persons have been arrested in this matter so far and we are searching for others. They will be arrested soon."
