Prof. N K Goyals says ban on the 59 Chinese apps was necessary as the user's data was being shared by China. He further highlights the role of internet providers and telecom operators for not allowing the further use of these apps.

New Delhi: Prof. N K Goyal, Chairman TEMA (Telecom Equipment Mfg. Association), India explains why the ban on the 59 Chinese apps was necessary. He further said that these apps were being used by the people of India and their entire information( profile of the users, location, etc) was being shared by China.

Prof. Goyal also says, " We are the owner of our data, why should somebody else gets data from us? Why should they use it for commercial purposes.?" He has highlighted the role of internet providers and telecom operators for the apps to be non accessible.
