Ahmedabad: US President Donald Trump on Monday asserted that relations with India hold a special place for his country, saying that America 'loves' and is 'loyal' to India. Addressing the 'Namaste Trump' event at the Motera Stadium here, Trump announced a Defence deal worth USD 3 billion with India.
Trump also thanked PM Modi for the warm reception given to the US first couple by Indian dignitaries. American President also complimented Prime Minister's journey from being a tea seller to becoming the Prime Minister of the world's largest democracy.

Trump announces Defence deals:
The US President has announced that the United States will seal defence deals worth USD 3 billion.
"As we continue to build our defence cooperation, the US looks forward to providing India with some of the best and most feared military equipment on the planet. We make the greatest weapons ever made. We make the best and we are dealing now with India", he said.
Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be holding delegation-level official talks on 25th February in New Delhi.
