Kota's Education Export Dev Sharma said that the JEE cutoff percentage has increased by about 2.4 in the general category, 12.5 in EWS , 6.6 in OBC NCL and about 9 percentile in SC category.

Kota: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of the prestigious Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2023 on its website. Candidates can see their scorecard by visiting the official website of National Testing Agency. The candidates will have to enter their application number and date of birth along with the security code in order to check the results.

The National Testing Agency has put three links on the "Student Activity" link on its website to let the candidates to check the results. The candidates can also check their All India Rank and Category Rank in the score card. Along with this, the cutoff has also been given in their scorecard itself. According to official figures, around 9 lakh candidates had appeared for JEE Mains Session 2 Exam 2023.

The exam was conducted on Apr. 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15, 2023. While the provisional answer key was released on Apr. 19, the last date to raise objections was till Apr. 21, 2023. The final provisional answer key was released on Apr. 24, 2023. Kota's Education Export Dev Sharma said that the JEE cutoff percentage has increased in all categories this year.

The change in the percentile ranges from 2.4 to 12.5 marks, he said. There is a difference of about 2.4 in the cut off percentile of general category. Similarly, percentile in EWS has increased by 12.5 , 6.6 in OBC NCL and about 9 percentile in SC category. In ST category, the cut off percentile has increased by 11.5. Sharma said that applications for Joint Entrance Exam Advanced will start from 30th April.

A total of 2.5 lakh candidates who have qualified from JEE Main 2023 will be able to apply for it and this exam will be held on June 4, he said. The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is conducting the JEE Advanced exam this year. A total of 101250 have qualified the JEE Main 2023 exam in the general category, 25000 in EWS, 67500 in OBC, 37500 in SC and 18750 in ST category.
