Missing boy reunites with parents in Mangalore

Specially-abled Subramanyam was found in the streets of Mangalore shortly after he went missing from his home in Andhra Pradesh one and a half years ago. He had burn injuries and disoriented at the time when was found. After treatment from a good samaritan in Mangaluru, he was reunited with his parents.

Mangalore (Karnataka): A specially-abled boy who had gone missing in Andhra Pradesh was reunited with his parents with the help of White Doves, a charity in Mangalore.

Subramanyam who went missing from his home one and a half years ago was found by the volunteers of White Doves Organisation in Mangalore. He was suffering from burn injuries when he was found. Corinne Ruskin, founder of White Doves noticed his condition and arranged the treatment. It was later noticed that he was specially-abled and provided the treatment for him to recover.

One and half years later, Subramanyam remembered his parents and his home of Andhra Pradesh. He was able to recollect the cell number of his parents. Soon, Corinne Ruskin contacted Subramnayam's parents.

The parents have been searching for him for more than a year and emotional moments followed when the boy was reunited with his parents. The reunion was in the presence of Corinne Ruskin and other inmates of the centre.
