Following paying condolences to Mahesh and Naresh Kanodia's family and former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel's family, PM is on the way to inaugurate Sardar Patel Zoological Park, popularly known as Jungle Safari in Kevadia, Narmada district today.
The Zoological Park near the ‘Statue of unity’ was developed in an effort to make the place an international tourist hub.
The Jungle Safari was completed in record time in the world and is a state-of-the-art zoological park on 375 acres and at three different locations. In the jungle safari, tourists enjoy seeing 1100 birds and 100 species of animals from all over the country and abroad.
This park also houses the second largest geostationary dome aeroplane in the world.
It also has a painting zone where tourists especially children can touch paintings of birds and small animals. Images of Macau to Caceres, Farsi, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, young horses, small sheep and goats or turkeys are included.
