Delhi: Miscreants kill gangrape victim's husband, police investigation underway

Delhi Police has launched a manhunt to nab the miscreants who killed the husband of a 30-year-old gang-rape victim. She was being threatened to withdraw rape case against them.

New Delhi: In a ghastly incident, husband of the gangrape victim was shot dead by miscreants in the Dayalpur police station area of ​​North East Delhi on Saturday. Police launched a manhunt to arrest the culprits.

The 30-year-old woman in her complaint stated that "the incident took place on Saturday night when I along with my child and husband were sleeping at a rented house in Chauhan Bagar. Suddenly, some people knocked on the door, as soon as my husband opened it, the miscreants shot him down and escaped. After that, I informed my neighbours and relatives about the incident. With their help, I took my husband to the Jag Pravesh Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. I had recently shifted to this house as I was being threatened to withdraw my rape case for some time. "

She alleged that Manish Pawan Pandit, a resident of Ankur Nagar, Ghaziabad, and a young man known as Tattoo had killed her husband. She added that earlier, she was living in the Loni area of Ghaziabad where she was raped by a number of people including Guddu, Meraj, Vasi and Tamjeet during Holi. Following which she had filed a complaint in Tronica City Police Station.

Tamjeet is currently lodged in jail in connection with this case, while the police are searching for the rest of the accused.
