Shraddha Walker's father filed an application in court through his lawyer Seema Kushwaha seeking the release of Walker's remains to perform her last rites. Special Public Prosecutor Amit Prasad said the Delhi police will file a reply on the application on the next date of hearing. SSP Amit Prasad will reply regarding the release of the remains.

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Saturday reserved its order on framing charges against Aaftab Amin Poonawala, the accused in the Shraddha Walker murder case, who killed his live-in partner and chopped her body into pieces. Additional Sessions Judge Manisha Khurana Kakkar posted the case on April 29. The arguments on the charges were completed in the Saket court on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Shraddha Walker's father filed an application in court through his lawyer Seema Kushwaha seeking the release of Walker's remains to perform her last rites. Special Public Prosecutor Amit Prasad said the Delhi police will file a reply on the application on the next date of hearing. SSP Amit Prasad will reply regarding the release of the remains.

Aftab in his confession said, "We had planned a trip to improve our relationship. We both left Mumbai on March 28, 2022, and reached Haridwar. After visiting Rishikesh, Dehradun, Mussoorie, Manali, and Chandigarh, we reached Parvati Valley where we met one, Badri with whom we befriended through the Bumble app.

He asked us to come to his home in Delhi. After roaming for more than a month, in the first week of May 2022, on May 5, we reached Badri's house in Chhatarpur Hill. We stayed at his house for about eight to ten days where we had a breakup after a fight.
