Patna: With early trends showing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leading the state assembly elections results, the party workers, leaders have started celebrating and are now demanding that the Chief Minister should be from the saffron party and that Nitish Kumar should shift to Central politics.
Excited workers and leaders are now putting in a request to Kumar to vacate the post of Chief Minister and graduate to Delhi politics.
BJP state minister Shatrughan Kumar Sathi said that for a long time the party workers had supported and made Nitish Kumar the chief minister but now he should leave the spot for BJP.

Echoing the sentiment, BJP leader Birendra Kumar Singh and Working Committee member Kamaljeet Singh, both said the next CM of Bihar should be from BJP.
Kamaljeet Singh said that because BJP has won more seats, thanks to Narendra Modi, the coalition has won a big victory and hence the Chief Minister should be from the BJP quota.
