Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh): President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday offered prayers at the ancient hill shrine of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh.
Kovind, an ardent devotee of the Lord, arrived here on a five-hour spiritual visit.

After arriving at the Renigunta airport, where he was received by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, the President offered prayers at the shrines of Goddess Sree Padmavathi and Lord Varaha.
Kovind then proceeded to pay his obeisance to Lord Venkateswara in the afternoon.
Earlier in the day, the President boarded the Air India One -- B777 aircraft -- on its inaugural flight to Chennai.
On the occasion of inaugural flight of Air India One - B777, President Kovind commended pilots, crew members and the entire team of the Air India and the Indian Air Force for operating the state-of-the-art aircrafts and facilitating VVIP movements within India and on state visits abroad.
