Hyderabad: Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly approached by filmmaker Imtiaz Ali for two of his upcoming projects. The actor has reportedly given his nod but he is yet to sign the dotting lines.

The latest buzz in the industry suggests that Imtiaz, who is currently working on multiple projects, made RK go through the storyline of two of his films which are in pipeline. According to reports, Imtiaz is occupied with a biopic on controversial musician Amar Singh Chamkila while his other project is said to be a social drama that talks about suicide.

Now, it is not known for which film RK has given the nod but he is interested in either of the two films is learnt. The actor has only read the storyline of the films and his approval will depend on how the final draft pans out. Imtiaz, who is going through a career lull after four consecutive flops is said to be preparing to bounce back with all his might. If he gets an actor like Ranbir for his next film, the star power of RK would undeniably a plus for Imtiaz's upcoming film with which he is aiming to shut the naysayers.

Meanwhile, RK is yet to wrap up the shoot of his much-delayed film Brahmastra. He also has Shamshera and Animal coming up while Luv Ranjan's next with Shraddha Kapoor is also among his lineup of films which he will be completing first before he takes up Imtiaz's film.
